I start a blog thinking WOW THIS WILL BE GREAT ! only a month later, maybe a bit less, to find out that really i can’t keep up with it because i get bored of it or else i just don’t feel like it. My sister stops because of depression and i stop because of boredom.. Hmmm…. Well lately in my life I have been working my first job at CANADIAN TIRE ! Yes it can be boring at times, but you work wiht great people, which make the work fun. Quite a bit of time customers will come in and be so angry and grouchy. LIke really|? WHAT DID I DO TO YOU? All I did was stole your money and let you walk out of the store with more stuff for your house. DOn’t be angry at me. THen people get mad for the amount of canadian tire money you give them back because they think that they should get more but the computer says what you get back. Gosh.. some people these days. They just make me laugh. I had 2 days of training and in those 2 days I totally pwned the cash register. Its great fun, pays not too great, but its a job and in 3 months i get a raise… AMEN ! For the past week and a half i have been doing vending machines while Bob has been out of town. Sometimes i’m like, uhhh why am i doing this… but oh well. he needed someone to take/look after his vending machines, so he called me up and voila here i am. I take my friend ashley bee with me and we stock them up. Life is grand !

snow, snow, go away and don’t come back !!

This morning I woke up to snow. You think that when the month of May hits that it won’t snow again till late November/December ? Well I guess not when it comes to Sask. I guess in Alberta it happened too. To put it nicely, I detest prairie weather and enjoy BC weather. I enjoy not having much snow in winters and when it does snow, it just gets rained away. I was looking at my sisters blog when I discovered that she posted a picture, so i stole it (thanks Jen ) This is the wonderful weather of Regina this morning.

In Sherbrooke, Quebec, where I had been going to school for the past 8 months, has no snow, 20 degree weather and its wonderful. Thank goodness that I don’t live in Sask and leaving soon, because this weather sucks. I don’t want to leave, but I want to leave this crap we call weather. Tonight I get the little ones to myself Noah is working and Jen has an appointment, so I get them. I enjoy babysitting them. Maybe I can steal them when I go back home… but the screaming and attitude of the 3 year old can stay.

Since school ended in April I have been chiling at my sisters house, watching the kids when they go out/work/sleep, and watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It has moved to be the best show ever. Presently I am on season 4 disc 1 and soon to be disc 2. I love it. I kinda feel like dead meat around here though. There’s not much for me to do, but that’s alright. I have been hanging around with these cuties.

Liliana has been a treat for her family and I lately. As I heard the terrible twos weren’t bad, so I’m guessing that Lili needed to make up for that and have the terrible three’s. If you touch her, play with her not how she wants to be played with, do anything without her permission, say NO or not let her watch a movie, she will start to scream and scream and scream and scream and scream (get my point) until you let her do it. Rarely does she get her way which ends with more screaming because she didn’t get what she wanted. She is such a treat for her parents and my ears. I think everyone can agree with me that our favorite times are 1 pm – 3 pm and after 730 pm. Times we have to ourselves, but the 1 – 3 normally has a lot of screaming involved because she doesn’t want to be on her own. I hope she grows out of it soon, for my sister and brother-in-laws sake.

In 3 weekends I will be going home. I am excited to go home, but on the other hand I don’t want to go home. I enjoy not having to do anything in a day and being around my sister and her family (when they are not screaming). I was looking into schools for the year 2011 and just seeing what offers flight attendant courses. The one that my friend told me about, that sounds really marvelous is Eton College in Vancouver. Its a bit pricey $15,000 but in the end i will have a huge possibility of getting a job and it looks marvelous on my resumes that I went to this college. When a lady from Eton called, I jotted down a few notes.

11 months

6 week practicum involved

not just education, but gives you an aspect of the job
gives you all the help you need with interviews and the job
practice job interviews
how to make a resume
tell you what jobs are out there
students are very successful
if you decide after the 11 months, capilano university, you can get transferred there.
You can get all credits transfered, and towards a degree.
Would not do online courses because flight attendant is very hands on.
Have mock up training room – students are able to practice (visit airport and talk to flight attendants and pilots )
taught by former flight attendants ( people who know what they are doing )

I don’t know about you, but this sounds wonderful. It would be marvelous if I ended up going to this college. Also I would be living downsouth with friends that want to live with me/me want to live with them. I think it would be great. It would be a bit pricey, but in the end I get more out of it. Then job hunting will be on my list of things to do also. I applied at Sight & Sound and am hoping that I will get the job, if not thats alright. There are other jobs that I could have… I hope… otherwise this will suck getting money for next year.

Well thats basically it.

Today has been a better day. My nose is still a bit blue and big, but the swelling has gone down so much ! I can finally put on my glasses, but it hurts so much to. The sun is shineing and it makes me happy. Its amazing how much weather can change your attitude and mood. Its been dark and cloudy here for quite some time, occasionally having some warmth, but over all its doing good.

The top of my nose is turning a bit blue and you can see the curve in my nose now. I really think its broken. NExt week i have tests. Monday morning, first thing, I have a date with Dr. Cotton to get my teeth checked out. Then Friday I have a date with Dr. Guitard at the hospital to talk about my nose, get x-rays, and see a plastic surgion.. maybe… depending on how things go. Fingers crossed that surgery isn’t going to be a necessity.

Last night i went and saw Tony Anthony. That guy is truely amazing. Just his testimony and how God worked miracles in his life, shows how amazing God is. He is faithful to everyone, but it just takes a long time. For Tony, it took 19 years. I guess i still have more time to figure out Gods plan for me, but I will have to wait and see !

Update of day 2

I didn’t have much sleep last night. Found it extremely hard to sleep with a aching neck, head, nose and mouth/lip. It kinda sucks really badly. The top of my nose is turning blue and my lip got fatter. I find it extremely hard to eat and talk without my lip opening again. I have placed many layers of Burts Bees on, but nothing really helps well. I am looking forward to the swelling to go down so the doctors can see if there is any problems with my nose. Untill friday, I guess it will be a mystery.

This morning sucked.

THis morning started out horr…ible. At 3 am i had pain in my stomach so i went to the bathroom, went into the stall and from then on i lost conciousness. When i came back, the stall door was open, my face was in a pool of blood, and my hands were full of blood. I got up and held on to the sink and just watched the blood flow. I sat on the ground and then my roommate and others came in to see what the big bump noice was.

2 people helped me to my room and sat me on my bed, trying to keep me from going unconcious again. 1 of them called 911 and an ambulence came to get me (there was a hott one though ! ) At 430 i made it to to the hospital. Got blood tests done, sugar level tests, ultrasound to look at my overies, but they thought i was pregnant, and yeah. They were trying to figure out what made me pass out.

THeir questions were:
-You drunk? No
-On drugs? No
-Got a boyfriend? No… See More
-Having intercourse? No
-Pregnant? No
-Eating differently? Well since november, but nothing really that new.
-Ohh well, I dont know then. We will do tests

When i just got there one of the nurses, after finding out i was english and that she would have to speak english, was questioning me.

Nurse: Where does it hurt?

Me: My nose and lip.

Nurse: Are you in a lot of pain?

Me: Well, uhh, yes.

Nurse: Do you feel like crying? ( WHAT KIND OF A QUESTION IS THAT?!?!?)

Me: Yes (as i start to tear up)

Nurse: Yeah, I can see it in your eyes.

Ummm, yeah. THANKS NURSE. But when all is said and done its been a super long day and its only lunch time. I finally got back to school at 1130 ate for the first time in 15 hours and yeah. They want me to come back in a week and see if my nose looks better, if not, we need to talk to a plastic surgion about making my nose NOT look like a black mans nose. But now i am doing a bit better. Hiped up on drugs. But I got to do things I have always wanted to do.

1. Get a ride in a ambulence.

2. Get an ultrasound (i wish i was married and pregnant so i could see something besides just my bladder)

3. Get help from a HOTTT ! paramedic

Well yeah. It was fun, but not really. Ambulences suck.

Summer Plans.

Since I never got into the French Program, Je suis en train de filling out an application to work at a bible camp this summer, 2 hours away from my house. I used to be a camper there, but its been so long, due to going to cadet camps all the time, and I feel like this is where I need to be this summer. Away from all the temptation to drink all summer, away from all the things that could lead me to my previous life, and just spend it with campers and God. I have to think of References and had a hard time thinking of 3, but now I got 3, but just have to contact them and get them to fill out the reference letters for me.

Hopefully God will provide and let me be here this summer

I don’t really understand some girls. Does summer mean:

1. Wear little to no clothes

2. Show your brests

3. Be all over your boyfriend.

4. Wear the wierdest combination of clothes ?

If all of the above are correct, summer isn’t my favorite piece of pie… i guess. Like yeah, wearing tank tops and short shorts are nice, but to a certain extent.
